Trust me bro, I was a engineer

This is a excellent kit, took this kit and used it exclusively during my land nav course. My one and only gripe was the compass. Mine was very wobbly and difficult to get a stable bearing when shooting. so I put the compass from the kit in my pocket as a back up. Everything was great and I recommend it to anyone but invest in a decent lensatic compass if you want a "decent" time doing land nav. It was 33f and raining and everything in the kit was great and held up in the weather. I do recommend a good mechanical pencil and nice pen for your kit and a piece of gutted 550 cord inner strand to find you degrees on paper. Overall 4/5 just due to the compass, I would give it a solid 5 if the compass quality was better.
